The crystal meth side of this debate is exactly prevalent to my topic on soft drugs (mainly marijuana), but the marijuana side is obviously veryyyy prevalent.
The youtube video creating a debate between marijuana and crystal meth is also poking a fun at our need to try and distinguish between so-called "soft"/illicit drugs (painrelievers used for a nonmedical reason) and "hard" drugs. Interesting that the report charting the drug use in America also includes a report on tobacco and alcohol use. Perhaps the interactive scare tactics you imagine working for drugs could work to stop abuse of tobacco and alcohol too (and certainly Gianna's description of the assembly she attended suggests this could be the case regarding alcohol use).
great topic to write on ! you really have opened my eyes
